BIG QUESTION

This is the most important question you can ask in this life, and something you want to invest some serious time investigating! We will spend much more time in eternity than we will here in this life and this is not something you want to get wrong. As a matter of fact IF there is only one way to Heaven you want to find out NOW while you still can. None of us is promised tomorrow. And IF there is only one way to heaven isn't that something you want to know for sure and instill in your children, grandchildren, and anyone you love? I understand that you may have grown up with your own religious beliefs and traditions or maybe don't believe in God at all, but all I am asking is that you look at this with an open heart and DIG for the Truth! I mean, honestly, is there anything more important in this life?  ​

Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me". ​

Today, more than ever before, we are swarmed with feel good religion and idol worship, and it can get pretty confusing if you don't know what God says about it. There are so many religions, whether it's throwing it out to the "Universe", New Age religion, Spiritualism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Wicca, Islam, and even some Christian churches with their own addenda and false teachings. We have some of the most famous and loved people claiming that all paths lead to heaven. We also have one of the most respected religious figures in the world telling people they will get to heaven if they are a good person, that all paths lead to heaven.  People look to him as a reliable source of biblical knowledge. They believe what he says because of who he is without ever checking what he is claiming against what God's word says. If that is the case then why did Jesus have to come and die? What is the purpose of the cross??? No where in the bible does it say we get to heaven by being a good person, it actually says the opposite. So, how do you know what to believe as Truth? God gave us the bible, a source of all Truth so we would have a solid rock to stand on. Everything can be measured against scripture. In response to what popular belief systems are saying here is what God Himself says: 
Romans 3:11 There is no one righteous, not even one.
Romans 3:21-25  God makes people right with Himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in  Christ, because all people are the same. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard, and all need to be made right with God by His grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free through Jesus Christ. God sent Him to die in our place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith in the blood of Jesus' death.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by Grace you have been Saved, through Faith- and this is not of yourselves, it is a gift of God, not by works-so that no one can boast" 

God and His Word is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER and it's the only source of certainty that this life holds! There is a raging war against the Truth of God's Word. We must know the bible so that we can distinguish the lies that are disguised as the truth.

So... could everything else be a counterfeit? Lies from the enemy of your soul, a diversion to steer you away from the one true God- Jesus Christ?  The bible says that Jesus is the only way and He  doesn't want religion, as a matter of fact, He spent much of His ministry scolding the religious leaders who thought they were better than everyone else following their laws and rituals. He wants a RELATIONSHIP with you and He went to an awful lot of trouble to get it! Take another look at the Cross... it's all about a love that suffers for a relationship with you. Look again at the Cross, His entire purpose for being born was for you to see Him and believe, through His willingness to suffer and die a criminals death to pay the penalty for your sins and bring you into relationship with Him. HE WAS BORN TO DIE FOR US...God, the creator of the universe, died for us!

Read Isaiah 53, it was written over 700 years BEFORE Jesus was born! Over and over and over again God says what is going to happen BEFORE it happens, Why? So that you believe.   In John 13:19 Jesus himself says "I have told you what is going to happen before it happens so when it happens, you will believe"... Why does he desire us to believe? Because it is by faith we are saved. It is His desire for everyone of us to spend eternity together with Him. He wired us with this same desire. We all desire to live forever and we all desire to live in a perfect world, which God originally DID create! And He has made a way for us to get back there, together, FOREVER. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.  Do not doubt His love for you, no matter who you are or what you have done, He has proved His love for you! You are treasured, you matter, your life has great value, this is why He came! Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were STILL sinners, Christ died for us. He loves you...

When looked at diligently there is an overwhelming, UNENDING supply of evidence that supports that the bible is in fact Truth. Many people have been tortured to death to get the Truth to us, starting with Jesus, then the apostles, right up to today where people are putting their life on the line to share the Gospel all over the world. History confirms what the bible states as fact, especially the history of Israel! Archeologists continue digging up more and more evidence that proves the bible true and indeed an accurate source of history. Science too, has proven over and over what the bible has stated for thousands of years! As a matter of fact more and more scientists are now acknowledging that there HAS to be intelligent design to the universe. I could go on and on but you need to dig in for yourself. Like I said in the beginning, this is not about who is right or wrong, I am just praying that you will sincerely seek God with all of your heart for yourself...Please! (I ain't too proud to beg!)

Why is this so important to me? I used to be that person that hated God, doubted His existence, and was so blind to anything that had to do with God. But now I see!! There are so many people that don't think this God thing is logical, it doesn't make sense to them because they see so much evil in the world. I get that. I totally understand that. But now I understand the other side of it. I see the truth and nothing makes sense WITHOUT HIM! As I dig deeper and deeper layer, after layer, after layer, reveals more and more solid evidence to support this whole bible God thing. Why is it so important to me to share this with you? Because eternity is an awful long time to spend in the presence of pure evil. God isn't sending anyone to hell, we either accept Him or reject Him, our choice. Hell will be the complete and total absence of God, Love in its purest form. All that is Good and Right and Delightful. What is left is pure evil, we cannot even fathom the extent of it. I will do everything in my power until the day I die to help people see the Light. Why? because I was so lost, so broken and so blind, so desperate, drowning in hopelessness but now because of Jesus Christ I am whole and healed and have this amazing life I never dreamed possible! 

WHAT GOD SAYS

God's word says He is the one true God. And he has proved Himself--you just have to dig in and see all the evidence for yourself. There is only one way to get to Heaven- God provided a way for us, Jesus Christ, He has done it all and has taken the punishment for our sin upon Himself-what more could we ask for??? It doesn't matter how bad you have been or how good you have been, we all need a Savior! So what do you need to do to receive this gift of salvation? And by the way, this gift is FREE to EVERYONE who is willing to receive it! It's not about you and what you have done-it's about Him and what He has done!

1) Recognize you are a sinner in need of a Savior (I don't know about you, but I am a GREAT person! LOL but I am still a sinner that needs a Savior! I love Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind but I still sin and it breaks my heart! Everyday I am grateful for what He has done for me!)

2) Believe that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, God Himself, that He was crucified for your sins, that He died and on the third day rose from the dead.

3) Confess that Jesus is Lord of your life from this moment forward.

4) Give Him a willing heart. Be willing to turn from the sin in your life (Repent), He will do the changing, the power of the Holy Spirit will change your desires from the things that are destroying you to things that bring life and true freedom!

Next steps

1)  Start reading the bible, sincerely asking God to reveal Himself to you, and to give you wisdom and understanding. The book of John or Psalms is always a great place to start.
